I'm a writer-director and my short films have won awards and played at international and national film festivals, like the Indian Film festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA), New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) and Indian Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK).

I have assisted ad-filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar, and worked in various roles, from production designer, assistant director and producer on commercials, to being an assistant editor on a feature. 

 

I studied screenwriting at UCLA, and I've written the comedy series ‘Official CEOgiri’ for Arre as well as developed series and features for various production houses. 

 

I've directed actors like Nawazzudin Siddiqui and Kameez Surka as well as extensively directed non-actors. ​​I've worked with Leo Media Collective, Sikhya Entertainment, Culture Machine, Boundless Media and Matrix. My films have featured on Jio and Disney Plus Hotstar.

With my films I seek to tell stories about social inequities and power structures, that find humour in the absurdities of life, and have authentic portrayals of the female experience.
